ABOUT SPORT VISION

image
Sport Vision was founded in 2003 by the Auckland Rugby League to service the investment of identifying and developing high performance Rugby League Players. The program was spearheaded by Stan Martin who at the time was ARL's Coaching & Development Officer. The objective was to invite elite players and develop them via High Performance programs, then represent their services to NRL Clubs where the commission received was reinvested back into the program. Stan Martin was already a highly decorated high performance coach from his stint in the English RFL and the 2000 World Cup Cook Islands and went onto to various coaching rolls such as Auckland Rep squads, Lion Red Cup, Junior Kiwis and is listed as the last coach to have won the Woman's Rugby League World Cup with the 2008 Kiwi Ferns. Stan left the ARL at the end of 2005 due to family reasons, it was at this point that the program no longer existed. Without Stan Martin there was no program so the name Sport Vision was offered to Stan by the ARL where it was purchased and shelved. When Stan ventured into the world of sports management as a NRL Accredited Agent after the 2008 World Cup he represented clients under the name Sport Vision Management until merging with Dixon McIver Management in 2021 where they both agreed to re brand and operate under Sport Vision Management. SVM as it is known was born and is recognized as one of the most popular social media NRL Agencies in the world today. For more than 20 years Stan looked after some of the greatest names to grace this sport whilst McIver built their next generation. Stan Martin unfortunately passed in September 2025 where he received well wishes from all over the Global Rugby League community... testament to his character and integrity. Stan Martin will always be remembered as the founding father of SVM... a legacy that continues in honor of a great man. RIP Stan Martin 15/4/1953 - 10/9/2025
