ABOUT STAN MARTIN
The name Stan Martin is widely recognized in Rugby League. A plumber by trade who played during what can only be described as the toughest days of our great game...the 70's. Stan received recognition as a hooker at both local and regional level and was awarded Auckland Rugby League's player of the year in 1980. Stan went on to become a prominent head coach in Rugby League where his resume consists of various teams including Auckland Reps, Lion Red Cup, Junior Kiwis, English RFL and the 2000 Cook Islands World Cup squad. Stan is also still listed as the last coach to have won the Woman's Rugby League World Cup with the 2008 Kiwi Ferns. At the conclusion of coaching Stan was very pivotal as the Development & Coaching Officer at the Auckland Rugby League where he delivered high performance coaching to our coach's and aspiring young players between 2000-2005. It was from this point onwards that Stan ventured into the world of sports management as a NRL Accredited Agent. For more than 15 years Stan has looked after and still looks after some of the greatest names to grace this sport.
